Life’s Too Short To . . .

emily August 31, 2014Uncategorized

. . . count calories.

Want a bikini body? It’s simple, put a bikini on your body. If, like me, good food makes you happy, then why deny yourself? Here’s my top tip – wine is made from grapes, so it counts towards your five-a-day! life's to short to count calories

. . . worry about the things you can’t change.

Whether it’s something you’ve said or done that you can’t take back, or something you have absolutely no control over, it’s pointless worrying about it. Stress and anger will only make you ill, so try to concentrate on the positive things in your life instead.

. . . watch endless reality TV programmes.

Watching Z list celebrities competing to see who can be the best dental hygienist might be mildly entertaining, but sitting through an endless ream of reality TV shows will drain you of your most precious commodity, time, and maybe even your sanity. Take it from someone who used to be addicted to every programme going – there are better things to do with your life! Read a good book in the sunshine, put some music on and dance around your house like a loon or just take the time to talk . . . really talk . . .to someone in your life.life's too short to watch endless reality TV

. . . care what people think of you.

Listen, as long as you’re not hurting anyone, then who cares if you’re the only person who thinks you’re awesome? You’ll only end up spending far too much time thinking about other people, and missing out on your own life. Be whoever you want to be, and if you’re different – so what? Embrace it!

. . . miss out on opportunities through fear.

Is there something that you’ve always wanted to do, but you’re just too scared to take that first step? Maybe it’s fear of the unknown, worry that you can’t afford it or something else; whatever it is that’s stopping you, just remember that life’s too short.life's too short to miss out on opportunities
